Wild Ale Refermented on Whole Chardonnay Grapes 

A three barrel blend of blonde wild ale fermented by and aged on our wild London yeast for an average age of 13 months in oak & then carbonically macerated on freshly picked 2020 Chardonnay grapes for a further 3 months. The aroma of this beer is green apple skin, hint of noble hop grassiness. The perceived acid level of this beer is relatively moderate with gentle apple mouthfeel. The flavour of this beer has a clean buttery tang consistent with warm climate chardonnays with a hint of crisp cider apple crunchiness. This apple character slowly fades into a touch of white peach before finishing with a whisper of tannin and a hint of stemmy wood.
