Style: Cabernet Franc from 70-year-old vines grown on heavier clay in Faye D’Anjou. An infusion style of maceration here where half the grapes were directly pressed and the rest macerated for 2 weeks in the juice. After a gentle press the juice was fermented in old barrels for 1 year. A delicately structured wine with all manner of red berries and earth on the palate.
